Gingerbread Man necklace

"I have run away from a little old lady, and a little old man, and a little boy, and a cow, and a pig, and I can run away from you too! Run, run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me... I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

This statement necklace depicts this classic chase scene - right as the Gingerbread is about to run into the jaws of the fox! Naturally, this chase has taken a large portion of the day, so this is all going down at sunset, as can been seen by the dark water, the misty reflection and the silhouettes of the chase against the beautiful swirling sunset.

A mixed media piece, this necklace is made from a hand poured resin sunset backing, and coupled with acrylic pieces to help tell the full story. Each piece is unique as no two backing sunsets are identical.
